FoxFire also specializes in advanced electronic surveillance techniques as well as investigations requiring a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality. FoxFire Investigative Service, LLC was established in May 1994 and maintains an office centrally located in Vernon, Connecticut, easily serving the entire state. The President of FoxFire Investigative Service, LLC, Spencer D. Frazee, retired from the Manchester Police Department after twenty-five years of service. During his career as a police officer, Spence was assigned to the Manchester Police Detective Division and to the Tri-Town Narcotics Task Force, where he conducted numerous felony investigations in addition to complex narcotic and undercover operations. Detective Sergeant Frazee also served as a member of the Manchester Police SWAT team for eight years, and holds 3 Distinguished Service medals and 3 Meritorious Service awards. In his last few years on the job, Spence created, wrote and managed the popular newspaper column called "Street Cop" in the Journal Inquirer (circulation 50,000), where citizens' questions about police work were answered. Spence has also served as an instructor in the Manchester Citizens Police
Academy since its inception, and continues to volunteer emeritus. Mr. Frazee is
an active member of The American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and the
Narcotic Enforcement Officer’s Association (NEOA).
